Artemis Appoints Andy Gray to Fund Management Team
Artemis has expanded its Smaller Cap fund management capability with the appointment of Andy Gray to the fund management team.
Andy, who joins from Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, will provide further analytical resource and fund management skills to an area of the market which is heavily dependent upon personal contacts and detailed knowledge of companies, their management and their markets. He will be working closely with Lindsay Whitelaw, assisting with both the Artemis New Enterprises Fund and the Artemis VCTs. Additionally, he will provide support for John Dodd and Derek Stuart.
Andy has over six years extensive experience in the small cap arena. Previously he was Investment Director of UK Equities, Small and Large Cap, at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership. Andy has also worked as UK Small Cap Fund Manager at LeggMason Investors and as Assistant Fund Manager on the UK Small Cap Fund at Murray Johnstone Ltd.
