Artemis appoints Ruth Keattch

Artemis announces the appointment of Ruth Keattch who joins the specialist fund management group on 3rd September 2008 as a fund manager.

With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry Ruth has built an enviable reputation in the smaller and mid-sized companies’ arena. Ruth was Head of Equities at Granville plc before taking senior investment management positions at Ruffer Investment Management and Deutsche Asset Management. She joins Artemis from Troy Asset Management where she was a director and head of research.

Ruth will be working alongside Derek Stuart, a founder member of Artemis and manager of the Artemis Special Situations Fund.

Her arrival coincides with Derek’s preparation to return the fund to its traditional hunting ground of small and medium sized companies in anticipation of an improving economic and market environment.
